Purpose

This archival news content is saved and organized here in a search-able format that allows for comments by the moderators and members of Sonoma County Pachamama so that it can be shared with others in a way that carries with it notations, analysis and therefore thoughtful context. Although it is much like a news feed, it is stripped of clutter, distraction and pseudo controversy and is curated for relevance to climate realities and strategies for effective mobilization to reversing climate change.

Sonoma County Pachamama Alliance demands radical, far-reaching measures by taken immediately by local, state and national governments to insure that humanity and all living species may survive and thrive on Planet Earth.
We representing the vast majority of the people of the world - the 99% - our common interests are to hasten the just transition to a truly sustainable future, preserve and repair where possible the planet’s climate and ecosystem, so as to end the sixth extinction currently underway and avoid catastrophic ecological collapse.
We must guarantee the human rights of all people, begin to adapt and build resilient communities and immediately prepare to respond to climate change impacts in a fashion which addresses the needs of the poor and economically disadvantaged first.
